Here’s how Amazon Prime Day’s deals stack up against sales at Walmart, Target and Best Buy

As more retailers look to steal Amazon’s thunder, it’s getting harder for consumers to spot the best deals.

More than half of consumers (52%) will put off making a purchase in anticipation of deals on Amazon Prime Day AMZN, +0.50% but those deals are getting harder to spot. The popularity of Amazon Prime Day — the annual sales event that will take place this year on July 15 and 16 — has spurred other retailers to seek out a piece of the action.

Walmart WMT, +0.60% Target TGT, +1.23% eBay EBAY, +1.16% Macy’s M, +2.38% Kohl’s KSS, +1.23% and Best Buy BBY, +1.38% are among the retailers holding sales to compete directly with Amazon Prime Day.
