Read this before taking a swing at Phil Mickelson’s 6-day fast for the British Open

Let’s get real.

Pro golfer Phil Mickelson returned from a two-week social media hiatus on Sunday to share that he has taken 10 days to do what he calls “a hard reset” before teeing off for the British Open on Thursday.

“Hey everyone, let’s get real for a few minutes. I haven’t felt good about myself and the way I’ve been playing,” he said in a video posted to his Instagram and Twitter pages, before revealing that he underwent a six-day fast where he only subsisted on water and a “special coffee blend for wellness” that he’s planning to share with the public eventually.
